On a trip what accommodations are there

Travelling: what accommodations are there?

Well, you’re going on a trip. You want to be well prepared and therefore have to choose how to organize your trip. What places will you visit, what things do you want to do and how much money will you spend on it? You’ve already made mountains of lists, so as not to forget anything. Still, one more thing you need to take care of: accommodation.

What types are there and which are right for you?

Of course you will have to take into account how you are going to travel. Are you going alone or with a group? Is it a round trip or a sun and sea holiday?? Do you have a good amount to spend or are you trying to do it on a small budget?

The answers to these questions will help you choose the best accommodation for your trip. Here is a list of accommodation options to choose from to make your trip complete.

Hotel

Simple enough. Luxury, you know what to expect. A private room and bathroom, a minibar if you like and, of course, room service.

You can take advantage of breakfast in the morning, and if you want, you can have dinner at the hotel in the evening. You don’t have to worry about anything: everything is arranged for you.

Hostel

Actually this is the new inn. In the old days at the inn, you could get a bed in a room where several people already had a bed. So they could accommodate over ten people per room.

It’s the same in a hostel. You will be assigned a bed in a room full of bunk beds. The bathroom is shared and there is a common room for everyone staying at the hostel. You also share the kitchen, so if you want to put your food in the fridge, make sure you put your name on it.

Otherwise the common good and everyone gets to eat it.

Airbnb

Airbnb lets you rent houses and apartments. Very convenient, because you have everything at hand. Cups and saucers? In the closet. Towels and washcloths?

Yes, in the bathroom, next to the scented candles and lavender bath foam. It’s like you never left home. Please note when booking: you do not have to pay service charges as a tenant. Did you do this when booking this trip or previous trips?

Then thankfully you can use this site to reclaim your Airbnb service fee. This can cost you a lot of money and the nice thing about this site is that you don’t have to worry about it. On the website you can read exactly how it works.

Bed and Breakfast

The name says it all: you get a bed and you can have breakfast. Actually, this is really an ideal place to sleep for people who just need a night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, and then quickly travel on again. You have your own room and in many cases your own bathroom, so plenty of privacy. And what could be better than not having to make your own breakfast??

Generally a B&B also not so expensive, so that’s double happiness!
